Potomac Valley Belgian Sheepdog Club

PVBSC welcomes Juniors and their Parents. We have an active group of Juniors who participate in Conformation, Agility, Obedience, Rally, Dock Diving, Herding and just good old fashioned fun time with their  Belgians.

In 2014 PVBSC congratulated Heather Godman of Sharon & David Phillips for being our first Junior to get Married and Return to the Conformation Ring for the first time in 6 years competing with her long time mentors now as an adult handler.

PVBSC is a proud Sponsor of Carroll County, MD 4H Dog Training Program that for 12 weeks each spring allows 4H'rs the opportunity to work with instructors on Fitting & Showing, Obedience and Rally finishing with a Show at the end celebrating their achievement's with their families and 4 legged teammates . Jim & Mary Reise, David & Sharon Phillips and Susan Davis are members of PVBSC  and  have contributed as Instructors in the program in various past and present  years. Some of our personal Belgian's are offered to youngsters during this program to help them learn about and become more involved within our breed.

In 2015 PVBSC's own Anna, Cassie and Kenna our 3 Juniors all made the Top 10 for Juniors in the Belgian Breed for AKC. We are all so proud of the accomplishments the dedicated Juniors and cannot wait to see what the future holds.

In 2013 PVBSC's Junior Kenna won every class she entered with her Belgian Delilah at the 4H State Fair. Kenna is still actively competing and growing her skills as a handler. Kenna is now training puppies for the rings both Obedience and Conformation. In 2015 Kenna and her home bread puppy Nola accomplished her 2nd major at Eukanuba in Orlando.

2015 brings a big congratulations PVBSC to Anna & Flame for their accomplishment in winning Conformation  at the 4H State Fair for the 2nd year in a row. Anna & Flame were also Best Junior in Show at the National Dog Show in PA for 2015.
